Good Works? or Obedience?

"Don't be deceived by religious methodology and 'good works'...obedience is better than sacrifice and to harken than the fat of lambs." Remember Matthew 7:22-24, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:"...It's not about doing good works, its about obeying God. Jesus did NOT heal everybody, or help everybody! John 8:28, "Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I DO NOTHING OF MYSELF; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things." He was obedient.

   Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
2. 1 Peter 1:2
   Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
